Natural materials, stable structure

The bed is made from bent plywood covered with bamboo veneering. Bamboo is a natural material that is very strong and durable. The bamboo is already treated with a natural coating and hardener which makes for easy maintenance and cleaning. This bed is suitable for indoor use only. Routine cleaning of the bamboo is advised by wiping with a dampened cloth and mild detergent to remove everyday soil.

Cushion rub count 40 000!

The outer – Oatmeal felt-like fabric with Teflon coating which protects the fabric against stains, 100% Polyester, Rub count 40 000. The fabric is protected against stains & any dirt can easily just get wiped off with a damp cloth. The cushion cover is removeable and can get washed at 30% light wash cycle. Cool iron on reverse.

The inner – Inside cushion is made from a high resilient foam that will retain its shape. The foam allows for exceptional load bearing capacities and allows your pet to move freely without the foam collapsing. With use there might be some yellowing that appears on the foam, which does not affect the performance or quality of the foam.

OUR STORY
It all started with a cat named Coco…

We are a husband and wife team with an immense passion for animals and keen interior enthusiasts. We had just newly renovated our apartment, but had one small issue which was the fact that our cat, ‘Coco’ didn’t have a living space that blended in with our décor and aesthetics. As a keen member of the family, and technically the “boss” of the house, we could not remove her beloved cat stand and throne (which had already been torn to shreds) from the living room. We eventually custom made our own cat stand for the living room and the rest is history.

In 2021, Jelico was born and since then we have been filling homes with beautifully hand crafted pet furniture pieces. Every year the product ranges have been growing and we have naturally expanded the collection to also include home decor and furniture items.
